The COVID-19 pandemic and associated educational disruption represents a catastrophe for the schooling, learning, and earning potential of the more than 110 million students from pre-primary to higher education in the Arab Region.
This study jointly produced by UNESCO, UNICEF and the World Bank aims to investigate and quantify – using micro-simulation tools - the potential impacts of COVID-19 on education and learning in the region, including their long-term implications, and provides policy recommendations.
